Report of the filmscreening of “Automatic Fitness”
The wine bar is filled with chatter and laughter in different languages of the international attendees of the Wellbeing at Work conference. Tables and chairs of different sizes pose a diverse background to the film screening of the award winning movie “Automatic Fitness”. Napo and an extravagant lady from the future (white wig and silver costume included) have attracted a large crowd. In this lunch session, a discussion on the effects of technological advancement on wellbeing will take place. Funnily enough, the participants stick to water, juice and a rare coffee to accompany their lunch in the wine bar. The aim of the session is to stimulate debate and arouse reactions concerning automatization by the participants of the conference. Host Joep van den Eerenbeemt – “call me Joe” – of the Dutch Focal Point of the European Agency of Safety and Health at Work kicks off with some general remarks before the movie starts.
